We have provided awareness raising sessions for the Children's Workforce either as a discrete event or as an element of other programmes-for example working with lunchtime supervisors and support teams.
Our work emphasises the importance of "knowing what to do" in the event of disclosure, recognising possible indicators of abuse or neglect, developing and modelling "safe behaviour in the workforce" and what to do if we suspect a child/vulnerable adult is being abused.
