Lunchtime Supervisor Support Programmes

An opportunity to provide Lunchtime Supervisors with a range of
introductory and update sessions as part of an induction programme,
or as a specific, phased development programme that enables them
to work with greater confidence and understanding in the challenging
area of lunchtime behaviour.
The
programme emphasis the importance of the relationship between school
and supervisors in delivering an effective behaviour policy. We
address issues concerning body language, proximity behaviour and
"best ways" of talking to children and young people. Observations
can be incorporated into the process. This option may include Elements
of best practice related to Child Protection are also included.
We have delivered training in Primary and Secondary Schools and
received positive evaluations.
