Behaviour Management

We provide an overview of some of the contributory factors to Pupil
Behaviour and our responses that impact on teaching and learning
for individuals, groups and teachers. This can be adapted to individuals,
groups or to examine organisational issues. Overviews of Child and
Adolescent Development will be included in order to contextualise
our work.
The
behaviour management process looks at the complex interactions between all parties in
considering the many aspects and sources of behaviour that may contribute
to challenge and "acting out". Withdrawn behaviour together
with its impacts on children, young people and their families is
also considered in the programme. Our work can be designed to include
the key principles of Emotional Intelligence and its relevance to
schools, colleges and other organisations in addressing the complex
relationships between behaviour and achievement.
Our experience in behaviour management includes a series of programmes and individual contributions
made to school development days and specific task groups.
